Tips to Personalizing Your Rugby Union Hoodies

Rugby union hoodies are clothing items that you will find in the closets of most rugby fans. Not only are they warm, but they are also quite comfortable and can be worn over almost anything. Additionally, being a unisex garment, they are convenient for both men and women. However, you will find that most rugby union hoodies look the same. This could be quite frustrating if you like having your own independent sense of style. If you have some rugby union hoodies in your closet that you would like to make unique, here are steps you could use to personalize them to your own taste.

Launder the rugby union hoodie

The first thing that you need to do is ensure that the hoodie is clean. If the hoodie is new, you may have to check if has already been pre-shrunk as you would not want any accidents to happen after you have put in your time and effort in personalizing it.

Establish your preferred personalization

Once the hoodie is clean, you then need to establish how you would like to personalize it. You are spoilt for choice when it comes to personalizing rugby union hoodies. You could choose to be inspired by the letters in your name and have them emblazoned at the back of the hoodie. Alternatively, you could draw inspiration from a favourite photograph, a slogan and so on. Your personalization options are virtually endless, and it is entirely up to you on what you would want on your hoodie. It should be noted though that some methods might prove more expensive than others. For instance, having the letters of your name printed on your hoodie would cost less than having a picture printed on it.

Create a professional sample for your personalization

Once you have selected your chosen method of personalization, you can then go and create a sample. Creating a sample is important so that you do not end up with any mistakes on the hoodie once you begin the process. Visit your local clothing printers and brainstorm on what would be the best design. Once you have established this, try out the sample on an old t-shirt. This enables you to see how the personalization will work out. If there are any flaws you would want corrected, you get the chance to catch them in time before the final product is printed onto your rugby union hoodie.

Natural Cowhide Bedroom Rugs – Care Tips

Posted by on May 12th, 2016 in Uncategorized | Comments Off on Natural Cowhide Bedroom Rugs – Care Tips

A beautiful, natural cowhide rug can bring a touch of rugged, country glamour to a bedroom décor scheme.  Although natural cowhide is generally pretty tough and durable, you’ll need to look after it correctly to keep your cowhide bedroom rug looking great.  Here’s how.

What you’ll need

  • vacuum cleaner and hose attachment
  • blunt knife
  • washing-up liquid
  • warm water
  • soft brush
  • soft-bristled hair brush

How to do it

It’s important to note that you should never have a cowhide rug dry cleaned, as the chemicals used in the process could damage it.  In addition, don’t put your rug in your washing machine.  Although cowhide can be cleaned using water, a thorough soaking could cause the rug to lose its shape, and the vigorous tumbling during the cycle may damage the hair.

  1. Start by taking your cowhide rug outside and giving it a really good shake out.  This helps to shift any dust and larger bits of debris that may have accumulated in the rug’s hair.
  2. Although natural cowhide can be vacuumed, you should never use a vacuum with rotating brushes on your rug, as this can pull the hair out.  Always use the hose attachment on your vacuum cleaner fitted with the upholstery tool, pulling it down the rug from the centre to the edges and always in the growth direction of the hair.
  3. Any dried-on debris, such as food, can be removed from your cowhide rug by simply scraping it off with a blunt knife.  Always drag the knife down the hair in the direction that it naturally lays in.
  4. You can safely tackle any residual stains on your cowhide rug with a cleaning solution of warm water and washing-up liquid.  Dip a soft brush dipped in the solution, and scrub the stain vigorously until it lifts.  When you’ve finished, blot any excess water from the rug with a clean towel. It’s important not to soak your cowhide rug, as this can cause it to become misshapen when it dries.  Also, never use harsh household chemicals on your rug; substances containing bleach may cause discolouration and could even strip out some of the hair.
  5. The best way of drying your cowhide rug is to drape it over a drying rack and place it outside on a warm day.  Be sure to place the rug hair side down, so that it isn’t bleached by the sun.
  6. When your cowhide rug is dry, lay it out flat, and gently ‘groom’ the hair, from the centre of the rug outwards, towards the edges using a soft-bristled hair brush.  This will help to lay the hair flat again, so that its natural shine is restored after washing.

In conclusion

You can keep your natural cowhide bedroom rug looking as good as new and ensure that it lasts for years by following the care guide above.

How POS Systems Compatible With Mobile Pay Apps Safeguard Your Clients and Your Business

Mobile pay services such as Android and Samsung Pay are quickly becoming popular, and these services are scheduled to expand operations into Australia in 2016. As a small business owner, you may be wondering if you should invest in a point of sale system that is compatible with mobile pay apps. In most cases, the answer is a resounding “yes”.

This cutting edge technology helps make your shop more appealing to young people and tech lovers by allowing these patrons to pay in a modern way that feels comfortable to them. However, these transactions are also safer. Here’s how a POS with mobile pay capabilities can protect your clients and your business:

Additional Safety for Your Consumers

If a consumer drops his or her credit card on the ground, a thief can easily pick it up and use it before the consumer even realises it is gone. In contrast, if a consumer leaves his or her mobile phone somewhere and a thief picks it up, the thief cannot get into the phone because it is most likely locked with a password or even a biometric ID lock.

In addition, when the consumer notices his or her phone is missing, he or she can wipe out the payment app remotely and erase all of the data on it. In contrast, if the consumer lost his or her wallet, he or she would have to call and cancel each of the cards individually, which can be a time consuming process. As a result of issues like these, mobile pay offers more security to the consumer.

Additional Safety for Merchants

Mobile pay also helps the merchant. In most cases, if a merchant accepts a credit card payment that is later disputed by the cardholder and the bank, the merchant ends up absorbing the loss. However, by reducing the chance of thieves using other people’s accounts, mobile pay protects your bottom line.

As a security measure, mobile pay apps use tokens. When a customer pays, his or her real account number is not downloaded into your POS system. Instead a single-use token is downloaded into your system. If a hacker steals all of the data from your system, he or she will not be able to use the single-use tokens. As a result, fewer customers are likely to be affected by the hack, and that fact helps to safeguard your image.
